A Straight Lay Tile Pattern
This layout is the most common and simple tile layout. As most would guess, the tiles are installed in a straight line with all corners lining up with each other.

Running Bond Tile Pattern
This pattern is also known as the ‘brick’ pattern as it’s how brick looks once installed. This specific pattern is very common with backsplashes in kitchens and bathrooms.

The Herring Bone Tile Pattern
For this pattern, tiles are set in a ‘V’ shape which resembles rib bones from a fish. This particular pattern is good for smaller rooms and can help make them appear larger. A wise choice for narrow hallways, entryways, bathrooms, and kitchens!
